			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Choosing the right foods is key to getting quick abs. We can diet all we want but when we choose foods that are not optimal for our body, then no amount of dieting and even exercising will reveal ripped abs.</p>
<p>What we eat plays a big part of losing fat and keeping fat away. Avoiding junk foods like sodas, fatty burgers, fries and fried foods will help you control the amount of calories we eat. These foods are so high in calories that it is difficult for our body to fully consume or burn the calories, as a result, the body stores the excess calories as fat.</p>
<p>Choosing the right foods means our body can easily convert them to usable energy to fuel our daily activities leading to less or no conversion to and storage of fat. Because no excess fat is stored, the body is free to use up excess fat stores when it needs more fuel.</p>
<p>Eating 5-6 small meals per day will help you maintain your energy throughout the day and keep your blood sugar from fluctuating too much. By eating smaller meals, we are better able to control the calories we take in and help our body to burn more fat.</p>
<p>Regular exercise is the other key factor of calorie watching. Having a regular exercise schedule, the body will have a way of increasing its activity level by increasing the body&#8217;s exertion and overall calorie expenditure.</p>
<p>Add interval and weight training to the mix to push our body to its maximum capacity to work. The muscles now have to work harder which means it has to use up more energy to fix, restock and remove waste products they accumulated from the training. This effect can last awhile resulting in more calories expended.</p>
<p>We do have to take care not to decrease caloric intake by too much because this sends a signal to the brain to start conserving calories for an emergency situation (starvation) and leads to fat storage and a lowered metabolism. That&#8217;s why small, frequent meals are better than totally not eating and better workouts are required to expend more calories than we take in.</p>
<p>The combined efforts of daily workouts and choosing the right foods are essential to getting quick, nice-looking abs. When we choose the right foods and complement that with workouts, we are choosing the best way to getting quick abs.</p>
