			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Like any concerned parent&#8217;s worst nightmare, my teenage son wanted to get a tattoo for his birthday. I thought he lost his mind and nearly got into a huge argument with him. Why couldn&#8217;t he be just like all the other kids and ask for a video gaming console instead?</p>
<p>After a heated exchange of words, followed by a cool-down period with lots of contemplation, I slowly saw the error of my ways. All my son wanted was a tiny tattoo for a birthday present. It does not equal to the end of the world just yet.</p>
<p>In Canada, there is no age regulation for getting a tattoo, although most parlours require parental consent for anybody under the age of eighteen. I was thankful that my son respected me enough to ask for permission first. I&#8217;d much rather argue with him over getting a tattoo, rather than him going to an untrustworthy tattoo parlour behind my back. If my son wanted to get a tattoo, then it is my responsibility as a parent to fully support him however I can.</p>
<p>My first concern is the quality of the tattoo supplies. I have heard many horror stories about skin infection through unsterilized needles and equipment. To avoid this, I did hours of research online until I came up with a very reputable tattoo parlour with great reviews and references. There are many useful <a href="http://amazingtipsforhealth.blogspot.com/">health blogs</a> out there with lots of great recommendations.</p>
<p>Another concern is the design and visibility of the tattoo. My son is still young and a bit naive, so he wanted the tattoo to be placed on a body part with as much exposure as possible. He did not take into consideration that very few employers would appreciate hiring somebody with a bright vibrant tattoo on the side of his neck. I definitely vetoed that suggestion, although I did recommend that he place it on the back of his shoulder &#8211; a common place for tattoos.</p>
<p>Since the tattoo gun came into origin during the late 1800s, getting body art has been made a much easier process. Previously, the traditional method was to literally hammer the ink into the human skin, which is not only painful but also prone to sloppiness and errors. The new tattoo machines can avoid these problems. There will still be some pain to getting a tattoo, but the amount is definitely more tolerable.</p>
<p>The tattoo machine operates with two needles. The first one involves tracing the outline of the tattoo. This is typically drawn in black or any other colour as the user desires. The second needle is used for the actual colouring process, as in filling out the colours within the outlines. The needles are designed so that the bottom base is wider.</p>
<p>It took a lot of effort and hard work to give my son the tattoo that he wanted, but I also learned a lot from the tattooing experience. And believe it or not, I believe getting the tattoo was a great bonding experience between parent and child. I would definitely feel prepared now if my daughter wants a tattoo as well&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Like many other people, I used to think long hairstyles were the only ones suitable for women. In fact, I thought they were also just right for men. Since I was looking to be as attractive as possible, I also wore all kinds of long hairstyles. Not only did I have long hair, I had luscious hair that went all the way down to my tail bone. Therefore, it is safe to say I understand what it takes to maintain long hairstyles, as well as their pitfalls.</p>
<p>Until you start wearing long hairstyles, you don&#8217;t know how much work they really involve. For example, if you want your pony tail to look even remotely frisky, you will have to undo it at least twice a day, and then make sure the fine teeth of a comb go through every strand of hair with ease. You might also want to wash your hair twice a day, and use special conditioners to control spit ends. Without a question, if you haven&#8217;t had long hairstyles, you don&#8217;t know what it is to sit for hours on end getting rid of tangles that happen if you so much as look at your hair in the mirror the wrong way.</p>
<p>Did long hairstyles pay off when I went out on a date? That&#8217;s a matter of debate. Of course, all that lovely hair of mine swinging too and fro made an impression. I could say that it always got more a few looks, whistles and stares. On the other hand, in the summer, there is no cooling off when you wear long hairstyles. If you decide to tease your bangs upward, eventually they will flop right into your eyes. Winter is not much better. Try getting all that hair to stay still in a brisk wind. No matter what your significant other says, it is not fun dating a sheepdog that no amount of spray net can hold in place.</p>
<p>One fine day, I was sitting there for the billionth time looking through long hairstyles, and wondering which one to wear. A strange thing happened. I got to thinking it would be lovely not to have all that hair weighing me down. Before I gave it another thought, I did the socially unthinkable. I cut all that hair off without even looking in a mirror. A few snips, and I was free from my prison of hair.</p>
<p>Today, I am proud to say I have not gone back to long hairstyles in over 10 years. While some people may think long hairstyles are mandatory, they need to think again. If you want to be able to finger comb your hair in the morning and look great all day, go with something shorter. That said, if you have time to waste brushing your hair 3 &#8211; 4 times a day, go ahead and wear your hair long. Just don&#8217;t forget all that hair will plague you at times when it is supposed to make you look more attractive than usual.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is a surplus of diets on the market. And if the experts cannot agree on which diet is best, how are you supposed to choose one?</p>
<p>Finding the right diet can be harder than finding a needle in a hay field.</p>
<p>So without further delay, here is what to watch out for when finding the right plan to lose weight:</p>
<p><b>1. Recommended amount of calories.</b> Yes, eating an insanely small amount of calories will help you lose weight, but there will be consequences. And if you go below 1200 calories, the health risks begin to mount.</p>
<p><b>2. Enough carbohydrates.</b> Ignore all the extreme protein diets. You body needs a bare minimum of about 100 grams of carbohydrates a day to spare muscle. Your brain also needs carbohydrates to function properly.</p>
<p><b>3. Inclusion of all food groups.</b> If the plan requires that you exclude a food group, it will most likely be very unhealthy. Why? Because wide varieties of foods interact with each other in ways that we currently do not understand.</p>
<p><b>4. Just enough variety.</b> If the diet calls for a very selective intake of food, you are most likely going to jump ship. Any diet you get on should have just enough variety of food to keep you from straying.</p>
<p><b>5. Affiliate promotions.</b> If you find that the diet plan recommends many products that the author is involved with, then there is probably some bias. Your best bet is to find a plan that does not recommend products the author can profit from.</p>
<p><b>6. Mandatory supplements.</b> Some supplements are very effective, most are not. If the diet you are considering is centered around a single wonder supplement, then you are better off looking the other way. A single supplement will not change the way your body looks.</p>
<p>Wading through all the different diets out there can be very overwhelming. And trying to figure out which ones are based on solid science can be virtually impossible for the average consumer. So follow my tips so that you can make an informed decision.</p>

<p>If you want to avoid the multitude of negative side effects from high protein diets, your fat loss approach should have a balanced eating plan in place. And balanced eating will give you a lot more energy per calorie of food consumed.</p>
<p>Even if you have the most balanced diet, however, fat storage can still take place. So it will be good for you to understand how different macro nutrients get processed in your body once consumed.</p>
<p>So without further ado, here are the mechanics of eating and fat storage:</p>
<p><b>1. Sources of energy like carbohydrates.</b> Every single carbohydrate that you consume has to be broken down into units of sugar. This is why you constantly hear how carbs increase blood sugar levels. Once the carbs are broken down, they get stored as either glycogen or fat.</p>
<p><b>2. Dietary fatty acids.</b> When you eat fat it gets stored as body fat very easily. How so? It gets broken down into fatty acids and glycerol. Having said that, do NOT restrict your fat intake as it is critical for maximizing fat loss hormone production.</p>
<p><b>3. Steak, fish, poultry.</b> All types of protein, they get broken down into amino acids. These amino acids will then be reconfigured into muscle. But there is a catch: you have to exercise in order for this to happen!</p>
<p><b>4. Spirits.</b> By spirits I mean alcohol! The Achilles heel of any fat loss hopeful. Why? Because not only does alcohol slow down the rate at which you can burn body fat, but it also gets stored as fat in between your organs. And this is the worst type of fat.</p>
<p>Optimally, you want all the food you eat to be stored as either glycogen or protein in the form of lean tissue. Unfortunately, these stores get filled up very quickly and any excess goes to fat storage. And recall that fat stores have unlimited accumulation capacity.</p>
<p>Also, make sure you do not go overboard with protein just because it has a high thermic effect. Despite this, excess protein does get stored as body fat when too much is consumed. So no matter how you eat, a negative intake is necessary for rapid fat loss.</p>

<p>Adolescence is the usual age group attacked with a skin condition called acne. Generally, acne is often synonymous to pimples but skin acne is actually a condition that also includes blackheads and whiteheads. Pimples which have pus inside are also different from the cyst like formation on the skin. </p>
<p>Having acne causes a lot of people to hide their faces from friends, family and colleagues. People with acne have low self esteem especially when the skin condition is recurring and severe. Having acne can go from mild condition to extreme cases. The presence of acne is sometimes attributed to hereditary factors and stress levels of patients. Although there are also claims that acne is caused by some food particularly fatty foods, this has yet to be clinically proven.</p>
<p>In order to impede the severity of acne on your skin, you can employ some acne skin care regimen that can be effective and inexpensive. There are acne or general skin cleansers available in the market to remove excess oil, make-up and dirt from your skin. You can also try some mild soap and facial cleansers for immediate cleansing of the skin from sweat. Make sure that the cleansers do not have adverse effects on your skin. You can also use some sunscreen when outdoors in order not to further aggravate the skin condition. </p>
<p>But if you are unlucky and already have acne on your face, some acne skin care products are readily available. Moisturizers will help lock in the moisture needed by your skin to rejuvenate. Check the back label of the product that you are buying and know your skin history and allergies before applying or trying anything on your face. Use non-abrasive cleanser and change it or discontinue use at the onset of any redness or itchiness. </p>
<p>If it is still on the mild stages, creams and lotions can be applied on the affected areas. These can be bought over the counter or without prescription. But if you realize that it doesn&#8217;t do any good on your skin after weeks of usage, you better check with your doctor so he or she can recommend the best oral treatment or antibiotics for you. Antibiotics that have salicylic and sulfur content will most likely work well for your acne problem. </p>
<p>If the immediate relief and topical treatments are not working for you, then you may already have a severe case of acne that would require a more intensive treatment. Severe acne causes inflammation, deep cysts and scarring. You may have to undergo more procedures to solve your skin crisis. </p>
<p>If you are too irritated with skin acne, you may be tempted to touch it often. Picking and popping pimples will only cause more damage to your skin. The acne skin care that you have been doing will simply be futile if you do not behave properly. </p>
<p>It&#8217;s not the time get hardheaded. Follow what the dermatologist tells you so you live your live again acne-free.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, a little caloric restriction is necessary for maximum arm fat loss. You need to master the restriction of calories, however, in order to prevent yourself from feeling hungry all the time.</p>
<p>So what can you do? Learn how to master your satiety, the feeling of fullness you get in between meals.</p>
<p>So here&#8217;s how to lose arm fat by feeling full all the time:</p>
<p><b>1. The amount of fiber in your meal.</b> Fiber plays an important role in how full you feel. The bulk it creates in your stomach will send a strong signal to your brain that you&#8217;ve had enough to eat. Just be careful with supplementation. Some research has shown that it can increase colon cancer risk.</p>
<p><b>2. Foods high in protein.</b> Dietary protein causes a lot of thermogenesis when compared to other foods, and it also creates a sense of fullness. In fact, if you compare all the macronutrients side by side, protein has the greatest effect on satiety.</p>
<p><b>3. The amount of fat in your meal.</b> The more the merrier. Fat causes a feel full hormone to be released in your body. It also slows down digestion which is beneficial for arm fat loss. Just be careful with going overboard here because fat does have a lot of calories.</p>
<p><b>4. Blood sugar.</b> Having fast digesting meals is a sure fire way to feel hungry despite a high caloric intake. Now if you haven&#8217;t been eating clean for a while, you may have grown accustomed to this level of hunger. But trust me, you shouldn&#8217;t be feeling this hungry. Stick to low glycemic foods as much as possible.</p>
<p><b>5. Water.</b> Now I&#8217;m not talking about drinking water here because if you drink too much it will go straight to your kidneys. I&#8217;m talking about the water in your food. Foods highest in water volume will make you feel the fullest.</p>
<p>Consistent loss of arm fat requires consistent mastery of hunger levels. And if hunger overtakes you, bingeing is likely to ensue. Unfortunately, bingeing can set back your sexy arm mission many steps.</p>

<p>Every so called expert has an opinion on how to lose arm fat. Some opinions are sound, others are borderline laughable.</p>
<p>How did this come to be? Well, there is a LOT of money to be made selling fitness products. So marketers are constantly trying to come up with new angles and new &#8220;one hit wonders.&#8221; You might be having a hard time figuring out what sources to trust.</p>
<p>Well, unless you have a PhD in exercise science, this can become quite a challenge-nearly impossible.</p>
<p>So without further ado, here are 4 lies about how to lose arm fat:</p>
<p><b>1. Formulas are the end all be all.</b> Some formulas are more accurate than others. And although they provide a basic starting point for how many calories you should be eating, do NOT assume their values are accurate. In some cases, they will be very off target.</p>
<p><b>2. If it doesn&#8217;t hurt, it&#8217;s not working.</b> Many fitness gurus claim that arm fat loss has be painful. Yet I disagree. I believe that if nutrition and exercise are implemented the right way, you can actually increase energy levels while restricting calories. The key here is to have lots of nutrients and lots of resistance training.</p>
<p><b>3. You have to eat less calories FOREVER.</b> Once you lose your target amount of arm fat, you should be able to eat a little more than baseline without excess fat gain. Why? Because your insulin sensitivity, muscle mass and metabolic rate will be much higher. Just make sure you lift weights so that you can enjoy these benefits.</p>
<p><b>4. Hunger pangs are a given.</b> This statement only holds true if you go overboard with caloric restriction. Otherwise, there are many ways to virtually eliminate hunger pangs and cravings. One approach is to use herbal teas. Yerba mate is the most powerful one and can completely knock out cravings, no joke! Sugar substitutes are yet another tool for cancelling out that sweet tooth craving.</p>
<p>There is an excess of information out there on how to lose arm fat. And if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is! So use some common sense when analyzing information and try to stay away from outdated advice!</p>
