<p>The conditions for healthy eating are much different than it was a generation ago. No longer is a healthy diet about eating &#8216;three square meals&#8217; per day. Rather than giving in and eating though, there are other things that you can do. Next time you get between meal feelings of hunger, give one of these tips a try:</p>
<p>Water. You should be drinking plenty of water anyway whilst dieting, as your body requires it to flush waste from itself. However, specifically filling your stomach with water when you&#8217;re feeling hungry is known to help stave off hunger pains temporarily.</p>
<p>Exercise. Distraction is the main aim with exercising when hungry, though burning off a few extra calories is a welcome benefit. You don&#8217;t have to do anything particularly strenuous, a short walk, jogging on the spot or press-ups will suffice.</p>
<p>Activities. Using the same theory that applies to exercising, finding an activity to do will distract your mind from thinking about food. You&#8217;ll need to do something that requires you to think, so listening to music or watching TV won&#8217;t work. Writing a letter or email, drawing or playing a game are best.</p>
<p>Chewing on something. Chewing sugar-free gum is a simple method for the short-term gratification of your hunger. If chewing gum doesn&#8217;t achieve the desired effect for you, pick a low-calorie snack like nuts or raw vegetables instead. Whichever you opt for, your body and brain will be satisfied that you&#8217;re taking in more food and the cravings will cease.</p>
<p>However, please remember that these ideas are only meant to see you through feeling hungry until your next meal. They aren&#8217;t a diet plan in themselves. If you deny yourself of food altogether then you&#8217;re doing yourself more harm than good.</p>

<p>There are many different things that will constitute the best way to lose fat. And there are specific things that you can do that will enhance the process. The best way to lose fat is to reduce the amount of calorie intake, and increase the amount of calories burnt during your workout.</p>
<p>Part of the reason for this is that the average person is constantly bombarded with advertisements for fad diets and promises that you can &#8220;lose weight eating whatever you want.&#8221; Honestly, these lame diet ads have done little more than undermine people&#8217;s confidence in legitimate weight loss programs. So, to set the record straight, I am going to point out some practical advice on the best way to lose fat.</p>
<p>Making sure you have a diet that is full of things like fruits and vegetables is a good start. The first step is getting rid of fast food and anything else packed with calories, sugars, and the unwanted fat. These types of foods have empty calories and can cause your body to pack on the unwanted pounds.</p>
<p>I also believe that not drinking calories falls into the category of things considered among the best way to lose fat. When you drink beverages that are loaded with calories, you are ingesting calories while providing no solid food to your system. That means you will feel hungry after drinking the calories which, in turn, means you will ingest more calories when you eat. This leads to excess calorie consumption that packs on the pounds.</p>
<p>Cardio exercise is definitely a reliable means of burning off unnecessary fat. Keep in mind it doesn&#8217;t have to be a high intensity work-out, unless you want it to be. If you can simply exercise as much as possible (within reason), you will get your heart rate up and burn off stored fat.</p>
<p>Now, I realize that some may not like the idea of performing certain cardio programs even though cardio might be the best way to lose fat. Here is some advice to those looking for a good cardio program: shop around. That is, look at all the different cardio exercises and select one that appeals to you the most. The more enthusiasm you have for a particular workout, the greater your odds of success will be.</p>
<p>Each one of these can be the best way to lose fat, but you can&#8217;t forget about weight lifting. Even if you lift light weights you will boost your metabolism. This allows you to drop weight in a shorter period of time. Oh, and if you&#8217;re worried about packing on too much muscle, just adjust the amount of weight you lift. You will be able to burn calories and still stay fit.</p>
<p>In the end it all revolves around consistency. Taking advantage of each one of these can work, but you can&#8217;t do it one day and not the next. Add what you can into your daily regimen and take it from there. If you can do this, and alleviate some of those unwanted calories, you will truly find the best way to lose fat.</p>
