			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The carbohydrates are the main source of energy which fuels our body cells. There are two types of carbohydrates namely refined carbohydrates and unrefined natural carbohydrates.</p>
<p>The refined carbohydrates are also called bad carbohydrates because they are poor in fiber content. Refined carbohydrates are found in refined white flour,sweets,ice cream etc..and are easily converted to glucose and quickly absorbed into the blood stream. This increased level of glucose in the blood stream triggers the production of insulin in pancreas to bring down the glucose levels in the blood stream. When glucose levels drop,the body cells and the brain cells are starved of glucose which is the source of energy. This causes the brain to activate the hunger center in the brain to order for more food consumption.</p>
<p>The insulin production in the body is increased due to excess food intake causes more rise in glucose levels. The excess calories are converted into fat and stored. When this process is repeated over a period of time the pancreas is weakened due to the continuous excess production of insulin and wears out resulting in less and less production of insulin leading to diabetes. The increased insulin production also inhibits the production of protein called glucagon the main job of which is to burn fat cells for energy. Due to low levels of this protein, the fat is stored,not burned.</p>
<p>The carbohydrates which are unrefined are called are called good carbohydrates because they take time to get converted into glucose. Good carbohydrates take time to get digested due to high fiber content causing more fat to be burned for the process of digestion. Good carbohydrates are absorbed into the blood stream gradually causing gradual increase of insulin levels. This low level of insulin production causes less fat storage. Besides good carbohydrates contain more fiber and fills the stomach quickly reducing the food intake.</p>
<p>Low carbohydrate diets are harmful to health. Low carbohydrate diets make the body burn not only fat but also protein which is bad for the muscle tissues affecting muscle development. Prolonged intake of low carbohydrate diet may cause kidney and liver problems. A diet of good carbohydrate with low fat content is good for health. It is advisable to avoid low carbohydrate diets at all costs.</p>

<p>There are many ways in which you can help your body to lose fat. However, before you actually do decide to go on any kind of program or fat loss tips you will need to talk to your doctor or nutritionist first. This is to make sure that your body will be able to cope with the changes that you are planning to make. Certainly as you start to lose the fat, you will start to notice difference in the way you feel and look.</p>
<p>In some cases people have found that just by altering their diet can help them to eliminate the fat that their body has stored and which is unwanted. But be warned although losing fat is easy for some people it may not be for you and this can prove to be the biggest challenge that you will face. When you are making changes to your diet, the first thing that you should be doing is eliminating any kind of fatty food from it. Along with you not consuming too much fat this also means that your body will have far less fat to lose. Plus reduce your salt intake and increase the amount of green vegetables you eat and this will help you in achieving your goals.</p>
<p>If you are not actually doing any kind of exercise and want to lose, fat then you need to start getting some routine in place. In the beginning, it is far better if you start off as gently as possible and the ideal exercise to begin with is walking. Then as time progresses and as you start to feel better begin incorporating other exercises into your routine. Certainly, make sure that you include some cardio vascular type exercises as these have been found to be extremely effective at helping with weight and fat loss. But along with cardio, vascular exercises there are plenty of other exercises to consider and a visit to your local gym should help you to devise the perfect exercise regime for you.</p>
<p>When you are setting up your exercise regime along with cardio vascular exercises you need to incorporate some kind of weight and strength exercises as well. This will further help to build up muscle mass, which not only protects the joints but can also help you to burn off fat more quickly as well.</p>
<p>Another way of ensuring that you lose fat but increase muscle mass in your body is by ensuring that have included foods in your diet that have high levels of protein in them. If you are unsure just how much protein, it is you should be consuming then discuss the matter with your doctor or a nutritionist. Also, you need to make sure that throughout the day your body is being supplied with sufficient amounts of protein and ensure that you have some prior to going to bed each night.</p>
<p>Another thing that you must be doing when it comes to losing stored fat from your body is to drink sufficient amounts of fresh water as well. If possible you should be drinking around 100 fluid ounces each day as not only does it help with eliminating toxins and other wastes from your body but will provide your body with the necessary jump start and so make losing the weight and fat easier to achieve.</p>
<p>The main reason to drink sufficient amounts of water is that your body will remain well hydrated and this will ensure that it functions correctly through out the day. Remember your body is made up of about 70% of water and although we can cope without food for a period of time, not enough water and your body will soon find it difficult to function correctly. Rather than drinking warm water drink cold as it will help to stave off the hunger pangs you may feel. Plus as previously mentioned water is the ideal way for helping to remove unwanted fat from the body.</p>
<p>Above we have shown you the best ways when it comes to fat loss, but if you want, you could try using supplements as well. However, you need to be wary as not all supplements are approved and may contain ingredients that could actually be detrimental to your health. Certainly, there are some, which contain ephedra that are harmful to anyone who suffers from heart or other medical conditions. So be wary and discuss the possibility of using such supplements with your doctor first.</p>

The models/actors etc used in these adverts are usually naturally stick thin and have never had a problem with stomach fat!</p>
<p>I have to say the biggest myth that people still believe today is one called spot reduction. This is where companies claim their diets, package foods, pills, potions or whatever else their selling will magically get rid of belly fat. Absolute baloney. There is only one way to reduce fat in only one particular area and this is by having surgery and that is an absolutely drastic measure which should only be a very, very last resort. If you do begin a healthy eating plan you will start to lose fat from all over your body not just your stomach. Have you ever seen anyone with a totally flat, toned stomach and thunder thighs!!! sorry to be so blunt but its true.</p>
<p>In the next paragraph I am going to tell you in three lines, yes only three lines why you are finding it so hard to target your stomach fat and get the toned abs you really want. What you need to do is understand how the human body works and work with it and not against it.</p>
<p>The unwanted fat you are carrying which will usually be affecting all areas of your body not just your stomach is caused by too much suger, too many carbs (the wrong ones) and too many saturated (bad) fats. Most people really have no idea which foods are bad for them, ie which ones have good sugars, fats and carbs in and which ones have bad sugars, fats and carbs. Once you have this information you have cracked it and will be able to develop a healthy eating plan and lifestyle change. Note I did not say diet. Diet is a bad, bad word and usually equates with short term measures that fail.</p>
<p>The answer to getting a flat belly is to lower your body&#8217;s ability to store fat. Once you realise where you have been going wrong all these years you will be amazed at how simple this is. You do not need any special diet schemes, menu planners, pills or potions. All you need is the knowledge on how your body actually works and why and how it stores fat. You need to know which foods it likes and which it will just turn into plain old fat!</p>
